Valorant Gift Cards: How to Get VP, Redeem and Pick the Right Region
Updated October 28, 2026.
A Valorant gift card is a code that adds premium currency to your Riot account, and you redeem it inside the Valorant game client. Riot says these codes are region locked: you can only redeem a code in the region where it was bought. So the first thing to check is that the card's region matches your Valorant account.
What does a Valorant gift card give me?
It gives you premium currency for your account. Riot calls prepaid and gift cards "cash codes" and says they get you "Premium currency for Riot's games (RP, VP, etc.)". In Valorant, that currency is Valorant Points (VP). You spend VP on skins and other items in the in-game Store.
Riot says that when you redeem in the Valorant client, "Your virtual currency will then be added to your VALORANT account balance." Source: Riot Support: Prepaid Cards, Cash Codes, & Content Codes and Riot Support: In-Client Currency.
Riot does not list a fixed "card value = VP" table on the support pages we checked, so we don't quote one. Look at the VP packs in your own in-game Store for the current amounts.
How do I redeem a Valorant gift card?
In the Valorant client on PC, signed in to the account that should get the VP:
- Log in to the VALORANT game client and click the VALORANT icon next to your VP in the upper right corner.
- Select Prepaid Cards & Codes.
- Enter your code exactly as it appears.
- In some regions, tick the consent box. Then click Submit.
Riot says: "Cash codes can only be redeemed in the PC versions of our games." The VP usually shows up right away, but Riot says "in some cases it may take up to 24 hours". If you try too many codes in a short time, Riot says to wait 24 hours before you try again. Source: Riot Support: Prepaid Cards, Cash Codes, & Content Codes.
Your code is in My Orders in your TopPlayer account after payment. Copy it exactly and don't add spaces.
Does a Valorant gift card only work in one region?
Yes. Riot says: "You can only redeem cash codes in the region where they were purchased." If you use a code on the wrong server, Riot shows the error "This Code is Not Valid in Your Region" and says: "You must use it on the server it was issued for."
Riot gives one example: a card bought in the United States or Canada "will only be redeemable in the NA server". Source: Riot Support: Prepaid Gift Cards.
Which region should I buy?
Buy the card for the region of your Valorant account. Riot lists these Valorant shards: Southeast Asia/Asia-Pacific (AP), Europe (EU), Korea (KR), Brazil (BR), Latin America (LATAM) and North America (NA). Brazil is its own shard.
| Your Valorant account | Card region to buy | Examples on TopPlayer.gg |
|---|---|---|
| Latin America (LATAM) | LATAM | Valorant Gift Card 10 LATAM |
| North America (NA) | US | Valorant Gift Card 25 US |
| Europe (EU) | EU | Valorant Gift Card 20 EU |
Every product page shows its region label, so read it before you pay. You can compare all cards on our Valorant gift cards page. We sell LATAM cards from $5 to $99.99, US cards from $5 to $25 and EU cards from €15 to €20.
Not sure which shard your account is on? Riot says your region and shard are "based on your physical location when you created your account". Check this before you buy, because a code can't be moved to another region.
What is a Riot Access code, and is it different from a Valorant gift card?
We also sell Riot Access codes, for example Riot Access Code 10 LATAM. Riot does not use the name "Riot Access" on its support pages: it calls all its prepaid and gift cards "cash codes", and the same rules apply.
What Riot does say applies to any cash code: "You must use the whole code on one game only." You can't split it "between games or accounts". On the redeem page you choose the game, and Riot says "Codes can only be redeemed in one game and cannot be partially redeemed". Source: Riot Support: Prepaid Cards, Cash Codes, & Content Codes.
What else should I know before I buy?
- Cash codes never expire. Riot says: "Cash codes never expire!"
- One code, one account. Once a code is used, Riot "can't help" with a used cash code.
- Keep your code until you have checked that the VP arrived. Riot says it needs the card and receipt if something goes wrong.
- Changing region is limited. Riot says you can only change your region of residence or shard to match your physical location, and after a transfer you can't transfer again for 90 days.

On our side, a gift card code works like a key: once you reveal it, it can't be returned. If the code doesn't work, contact support within 30 days. See our refund policy.
